According to reports from the AP, the Steel Pier in Atlantic City will reopen this year in April.  Apparently next year, the site is scheduled to start becoming the home of luxery condomineums courtesy of Trump Entertainment Resorts.

The 109 year old pier, in its heyday was the home to many headline attractions and entertainers, but today is relegated to amusement park status with rides overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

IF you want to visit this historic New Jersey landmark, this summer may be your last chance to stroll along the Steel Pier.
