ATLANTIC CITY- On Friday June 30^th, the Surf will host Smokin' First Pitch at Bernie Robbins Stadium. The club will attempt to set a world record for the most people throwing out the first pitch of a game while smoking a cigar.

The first 100 people age 21 and over who show their ticket stub in the stadium's Smokin Butt Cigar Lounge will receive one free cigar to enjoy while attempting the record. The game featuring the Atlantic City Surf taking on the Bridgeport Bluefish on June 30^th will begin at 6:35 p.m. Gates will open at 5:35 p.m. and all Smokin' First Pitch participants arrive in the lounge by 6:00. “We try to do something special for people of all ages and the first pitch will be a smoking-good-time for some of the adults,” said Surf general manager Greg Lynch.

The Smokin' Butt Cigar Lounge inside Bernie Robbins Stadium is open every Friday and Saturday night the Surf are in action. One five-dollar voucher gets visitors all-access to the lounge which features live music prior to the game and a lounge beer vendor. Visitors to the lounge will also receive one free cigar as they enjoy the game from field-level on the first-base side. They can also register to win tickets to upcoming shows at the House of Blues.
